Fall Diffuser Recipes

Fall diffuser recipes

The dangers of candles

Studies are coming in fast and furious about the dangers of synthetic fragrances. One of the worst offenders are the candles that we light up in our home.

I get it. We want our homes to smell nice and the flame of a candle creates a soothing ambience. But not at the expense of our health.

A recent study showed that burning a candle for one hour is the equivalent of smoking a single cigarette. Burn candles all day long? That’s a pack a day! Scary if you really think about it.

Enter diffusing. An amazing alternative to candles, cold-air diffusers used with essential oils will not only make your home smell good but will create a safe and therapeutic environment. Grab a diffuser with a candle-flicker setting and you have what you need to fully replace that Yankee candle.
