The Best Way to Start Your Day

2019 is here! A time to consider what you want the coming year to look like. To think back on what should stay in the past and move forward on what could be changed or added.

One of my biggest resolutions is to drink more water. It seems trite but we are a chronically dehydrated society, mainly because we keep choosing sugary or caffeinated drinks instead of the plain stuff. But the plain stuff is what your body craves and what it thrives on!

Imagine avoiding that afternoon slump. 

Getting back to basics, one of the BEST things you can do to kick-start your entire day is to drink 16 or more oz. of water FIRST THING in the morning with NO flavoring in it!! Why no flavoring?Because any flavor sends a message to your body to start the digestive process and you don’t want to do that quite yet.

Flooding your body with unflavored water first flushes out the ‘sludge’ from the night before! So you’re flushing the toxins out and essentially created a fresh start for the day. And who doesn’t want that?

Pro Tip: Get your morning water ready the night before and set it by your bed or sink so it’s ready to drink!
