Did you know that women can put up to 500 chemicals on their bodies each day, 80 of them BEFORE breakfast? This might seem like an outrageous claim to you but think about it. 

You jump in the shower that you just bleached the night before, which absorbs through your feet into your bloodstream. You shampoo, condition, soap up, slather your legs with shaving cream, and scrub your face with a face wash. 

You dry off and lotion up. Then comes the face serum, lotion, makeup, hairspray, perfume. The list goes on and on. Not such a crazy claim, right? 

Friend, our bodies are a toxic storm. What are the symptoms of a chemically overloaded body?

  • Lethargy
  • Inability to focus
  • Sleep trouble
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Unexplained pain
  • Skin issues – adult acne 
  • Hot flashes
  • Stress 
  • Fear
  • And so much more

Do you see yourself on this list at all? I do!!! It’s time to start flipping over the products at the store and reading the labels, just like we do with food. It matters. 

If your skin is the largest organ of the body, it absolutely matters as much what we put ON the body as what we put IN it.
